The Working Principles of Peristaltic Pump

        Peristaltic pump, also known as constant current pump and tube pump, the mechanical principle of which is very simple. It is pumped by alternately squeezing and releasing the pump tubes. Just like squeezing a tube filled with liquid with two fingers, as the fingers move, the negative pressure is formed in the tube and the liquid flow! Peristaltic pump realizes its pumping with the tube installed between the rollers and the stator, in order to pump. But we use a stable motor, the standard pump head and modern control technology.
In operation, a piece of pump tube between the two rollers forms a pump space. The size of the pump room depends on the inner diameter of the pump tube and the size of the roller. The theoretical flow rate is the product of volume of the pump chamber, the product of the number of pump chambers in 360 °and pump speed. Compared with the pump with the same diameter, the pump with bigger liquid room will cause larger fluid volume and pulse. In contrast, the pump with smaller liquid room will cause a larger fluid volume and pulse, but fast and continuous pumping can ideally reduce the pulse. Therefore, for selecting pumps which requires small flow, small pulse, the selection of pump heads is very critical

1.Negative pressure and liquid suction of peristaltic pump is caused by the elasticity of the pump tube, the pump tube rebound speed and time is fixed, the resilience of pump tube is also. Because of this characteristic, the suction will be affected by the hardness of the pump tube. The common experimental peristaltic pump can not quickly transfer the liquid with poor fluidity and slow flow speed, and need to load harder and high-resilience tubes to transfer poor-fluidity and high-viscosity liquid.
2.peristaltic pump will cause a fixed amount of liquid each turn. So the peristaltic pump can adjust the pump speed by adjusting the flow rate, while the transferring accuracy is very high.
